  1. The Contact menu commands include:
  2.  
  3. New Contact
  4. Creates a new Contact, opening the Detail View if necessary.
  5.  
  6. Dial
  7. With the Detail View frontmost, or a Contact selected in the List View: opens a dialog box that allows you to dial the Contact according to the settings configured in the Dialing pane of the Preferences window.

  9. New Note
  10. With a Detail View open or one Contact in the List View selected: creates a new Event called "Note".
  11.  
  12. New Event
  13. With the Detail View open or one Contact in the List View selected: opens the Event Info window for the Event type you selected in the submenu.
  14.  
  15. Attach Document
  16. With the Detail View frontmost or a Contact selected in the List View: opens the standard directory dialog box, where you choose a file to attach.
  17.  
  18. Assign Keywords
  19. Allows you to check or clear Keywords for the currently selected Contact(s).
  20.  
  21. Assign Category
  22. Allows you to assign a Category to the currently selected Contact(s) in the List View or in the currently open Detail View.
  23.  
  24. Date/Time Stamp
  25. Places a Date/Time stamp at the cursor location in the Note or Event window.
  26.  
  27. Address Format
  28. Overrides the currently open Detail View's address block to reflect a new order. This affects both work and home addresses. Saves this change with the current Contact record. This is useful for international addresses.
  29.  
  30. Mark Contact
  31. Marks the currently selected Contact(s). If a Contact is already marked, you see "Unmark Contact."
  32.  
  33. Add to QuickContact
  34. Marks the currently selected Contact(s) to appear in the QuickContact menu.
  35.
